The GBM Dublin HRBP Contributes to the overall success of HR Europe ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Specifically, this role is responsible for a population of approximately 70 employees, partnering with the Dublin business units and providing support for key HR processes including recruitment, compensation and performance management.


Coach and support managers on all aspects of the employee experience from sourcing talent to ER issues

Co-ordinate the recruitment process with hiring managers and ensuring compliance with documented procedures and local employment legislation.

Provide support and guidance to the business (both employees and people managers) on all HR matters in particular ensure that guidance is provided on the following:

Interpretation and implementation of the Bank’s policy

Salary benefit practices are understood and employment laws and legislative requirements are met

Any HR/employee specific situations and respond expediently as they arise

Support the Director HR by implementing the Bank’s key annual HR processes including:

The employee performance and development cycle

The bonus and pay determination cycle

The talent identification process

Accountable for all the contractual HR administration including, contracts, promotions, transfers etc.

Responsible for liaising with Total Rewards and Ireland HR team in conducting the annual salary benchmarking process

Assisting with ad hoc HR projects as they arise

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

Lead continuous improvement of policies and procedures

Ensure effective communication on all HR programs, initiatives and issues

Collaborate with global and regional HR colleagues to ensure appropriate Training & Development Programmes are designed and deployed.

Work with Global Mobility to Support the Work Permit Process and be the company point of contact in the event that Work Permits/Visas are required for travel/training in other countries.

Champions a high performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.

Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

HR qualification with solid HR experience

Previous experience of supporting business units with performance management and employee relation matters

Must have a good working knowledge of Irish employment legislation

Must have experience of interviewing at a middle management/ senior level

Excellent knowledge of Irish employment law

Excellent administration and MS Office skills, particularly, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
