Provides strategic direction, leadership and oversight for the Diversified, Healthcare & Technology team in Europe ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are supported in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.


Lead origination/development of Healthcare and Technology sectors business within Corporate Banking across UK & Europe

Relationship management and/or client coverage for transaction structuring and execution of lending transactions, as well as deliver multi-product solutions to clients.

Manage and develop strong client relationships

Market the banks global product offering, through collaboration with various product groups.

Ensure the delivery of quality transaction services and client support;

Supervises execution process, including full review of marketing materials, oversight & training of junior resources and completion of mandates

Develop recommendations for the appropriate course of action and manages the preparation of detailed credit submissions to be approved by the credit committees

Interacts with Global Industry Teams (Healthcare and Technology) on matters related to the generation and evaluation of cross border opportunities, leading pitches, and engagement proposals.

Contributes to a high-performance environment and fosters an inclusive work environment

Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout the team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships and knowledge.

Directs day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture.

Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

Builds a high performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team.



Ideal candidate will possess a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification and have an excellent academic and professional record.

Masters-level/MBA education is high preferred.

CFA or equivalent designation is an asset.

Functional competencies:

Solid direct industry experience with established and strong customer relationships in Technology and/or Healthcare sectors

Strong quantitative skills focused on financial analysis, accounting and financial theory.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to lead a transaction approval process from end to end

Previous credit analysis experience

High degree of intellectual curiosity.

The ability to manage multiple clients/transactions simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work.

Strong presentation skills.
